Ben and Kate revolves around a free-thinking brother (Nat Faxon) who moves in with his do-the-right thing sister (Dakota Johnson) to help take care of her young daughter (Maggie Elizabeth Jones). He also helps her rediscover what life has to offer while she helps bring him back to reality. Lucy Punch and Echo Kellum play their friends.
Once the other networks have their TV shows in place, Ben and Kate will air opposite ABC’s Dancing with the Stars results show, Hart of Dixie on The CW, The Voice on NBC, and NCIS on CBS. FOX has ordered 13 episodes of Ben and Kate to begin.
