Beyond the Tank takes a look at what happens to their businesses after entrepreneurs leave the tank. Was their deal worth it? Are others better off that they didn’t make a deal? These follow-up stories feature the business owners and “sharks” like Robert Herjavec, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Mark Cuban, and Lori Greiner.
The series debuted last Friday night to a positive 1.6 rating int he 18-49 demographic with 6.38 million viewers. It was the clear winner in its timeslot in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
It’s currently unclear if the second season of Beyond the Tank will include leftover episodes from season one. Word is that ABC has 10 episodes of Beyond the Tank but has only scheduled three of them (May 1st, May 8th and May 15th). They may air more of them during the summer or hold them until they have new Shark Tank installments next fall.
