Is The Big Bang Theory ending after season 10? Recently, CBS chief Glenn Geller said he is confident there will be an eleventh season, Deadline reports.
As of now, season 10 marks the end of both the cast’s contracts and CBS’ deal with producing studio Warner Bros. TV.
During the recent TCA summer press tour, Geller said he has no doubts that both the cast and Warner Bros. will agree to more Big Bang Theory:
We are very confident that everyone involved wants more Big Bangbeyond Year 10, and we know that Warner Bros. will make these deals.”
Earlier, star Kunal Nayyar echoed Geller’s message, saying he and the rest of the cast want at least another season:
All of us on the show realise how lucky we are on the show and we treasure it. We know it is special. I don’t know to be honest, it could be the end. Hopefully it’s not. The decisions are not up to us. I hope it isn’t. Unanimously, none of us want it to end.”
Season 10 of The Big Bang Theory premieres on September 19th.
