Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce is back and with a new name. Deadline reports Fuse has renewed the TV series for a sixth season and it will now be titled Big Freedia Bounces Back.
The reality series follows the personal and professional life of the musician Big Freedia, who is known for popularizing bounce music.
Season six of Big Freedia Bounces Back is slated to debut in summer 2017 with eight hour-long episodes.
From Deadline:
When the series returns, Freedia will allow cameras in for a closer, extended look at her journey to renew and reinvent herself. The new, longer episodes will follow a clean and sober Freedia, ready for a new lease on life, along with other surpises, according to Fuse. The series will again be produced by World of Wonder Productions.”
