What’s This TV Show About?
A family comedy airing on the ABC television network, Black-ish stars Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Miles Brown, Marsai Martin, Peter Mackenzie, Jeff Meacham, Jenifer Lewis, Deon Cole, and Laurence Fishburne. Dre (Anderson) and Rainbow (Ross) Johnson want to give their children the best, and they’re determined that best will include a strong sense of cultural identity and respect for the past, as their foundation for a bright future. In the fourth season, with DeVante home, the whole Johnson family needs to adapt to the realities of having a new baby under their roof.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of Black-ish averaged a 1.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.27 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 21% and down by 17%, respectively. Find out how Black-ish stacks up against other ABC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will ABC cancel or renew Black-ish for season five? Though the ratings are down, I can’t see the network cancelling this family sitcom any time soon. I predict it will score in a renewal. Predictions are cheap, though, so I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments and my dinner plans.
