Are Dre, Rainbow and the Johnson brood still keeping it real in season three of ABC’s Black-ish TV show? We all know that the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in whether the TV show Black-ish is cancelled or renewed for a fourth season. Unfortunately, most people aren’t part of that system. Consequently, many viewers feel upset that the networks don’t consider their opinions and viewing habits. We’d like to offer you a chance to rate the episodes here.
An ABC sitcom, Black-ish follows Andre “Dre” Johnson (Anthony Anderson). He has a great job and is married to anesthesiologist Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross). Together, they are raising four kids (Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Miles Brown, and Marsai Martin), in a suburban colonial home. They’re a happy family, but Dre worries they have lost touch with their roots. With help from his parents (Laurence Fishburne and Jennifer Lewis), he sets out to establish a sense of cultural identity for his family — one which honors their past, yet embraces the future. In season three, as eldest daughter Zoey (Shahidi) finishes high school and looks forward to college, Dre and Bow are expecting their fifth child.
