The second week brought in a 1.8 rating (-10% week-to-week change) with 11.3 million. While this is a decrease when compared to last season’s second installment, this is a close match to last season’s average.

Year-to-year, the season premiere of Blue Bloods was down by 9% with a 2.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 12.06 million viewers. While a decline is never positive, the debut was higher than last season’s average. It was tied in first place for the timeslot, with NBC’s Dateline, and continues to attract the highest number of total viewers of the night.
