Are you pining for some more Blunt Talk? Walter Blunt’s alter-ego, Patrick Stewart has got your back. The star posted the Blunt Talk TV show’s official second season trailer on Facebook. Watch it below. Blunt Talk season two premieres on Starz, Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 8:35pm ET/PT, following the second season premiere of Ash Vs Evil Dead.
The L.A.-set comedy features Stewart as Falklands War vet and newsman Blunt. The British ex-pat is determined to conquer American cable news with his nightly show, Blunt Talk. Jacki Weaver, Adrian Scarborough, Dolly Wells, Mary Holland, Karan Soni, and Timm Sharp also star.
The second season premiere episode of Blunt Talk is called, “I Remember That Time More Like a Movie I Saw Than a Life I Lived.” Starz says:
Walter Blunt and his team are on top of the network ratings when Walter runs into an old flame, in town to investigate a conspiracy involving one of Los Angeles’ most crucial environmental threats. Rosalie, Jim, Celia, Martin, and Shelly (with all their various neuroses intact) are by Walter’s side as he delves into his past, which leads him into a web of intrigue affecting the future of LA. The upcoming season of “Blunt Talk” will include ten half-hour episodes.
