Of the renewal, Michael Lombardo, HBO’s president of programming, said, “Thanks to Terry Winter, Martin Scorsese, Tim Van Patten, Howard Korder and their stellar team, Boardwalk Empire remains in a class by itself… I look forward to another electrifying season of this impeccably crafted series.”
The fourth season of Boardwalk Empire is currently airing and the three episodes have averaged 2.15 million viewers for initial airings. That’s on par with season three. The finale is set for November 24th.
