2.0 in the demo (+11% episode-to-episode change) with 10.2 million; tied for second in the timeslot.

Episode 02-02: Tuesday, 9/27/11
Not good news for the sophomore drama. Episode two dropped 18% in the demo to a 1.8 rating and 9.19 million viewers. It was in last place for the timeslot and is now the lowest-rated scripted series on the network. If you love the show, that’s not the position you want it to be in.
Season average: 2.0 demo with 9.3 million.

Episode 02-01: Tuesday, 9/20/11
Delany and company had a disappointing debut for their second season, attracting a 2.2 in the 18-49 demographic and 9.41 million viewers. It was in second place for the timeslot, narrowly beating NBC’s Parenthood. Compared to the series debut, Body of Proof was down 29% in the demo. Year-to-year, Proof was down just 5% when compared to now-cancelled Detroit 1-8-7 in the same timeslot.


Reference point: The 2010-11 season averaged a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 11.13 million viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
