Netflix has picked up another hit from across the pond. Deadline reports the streaming service has acquired the BBC TV show Bodyguard.
The drama “tells the fictional story of David Budd (Richard Madden), a heroic but volatile war veteran now working as a Specialist Protection Officer for the Royalty and Specialist Branch (RasP) of London’s Metropolitan Police Service.” The cast also includes Keeley Hawes.
Bodyguard premieres on Netflix on October 24th.
