Breaking Pointe TV show ratingsHere are the latest ratings for the Breaking Pointe TV series. This television show follows the behind-the-scenes world of the elite Ballet West dance company in Salt Lake City. The first season of Breaking Pointe typically airs Thursday nights on The CW network.

UPDATE: Breaking Pointe has been renewed for a second season by The CW.

Final season one ratings: 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 0.78 million total viewers.

Episode 01-06: Thursday, 07/05/12
0.3 demo rating (+50% episode-to-episode change) with 0.86 million.
Season averages: 0.27 in the demo with 0.78 million.

Episode 01-05: Thursday, 06/28/12
0.2 in the demo (-33% episode-to-episode change) with 0.62 million.
Season averages: 0.26 in the demo with 0.77 million.

Episode 01-04: Thursday, 06/21/12
0.3 in the demo (0% episode-to-episode change) with 0.84 million.
Season average: 0.28 in the demo with 0.80 million.

Episode 01-03: Thursday, 06/14/12
0.3 in the demo (+50% episode-to-episode change) with 0.82 million.
Season average: 0.27 in the demo with 0.79 million.

Episode 01-02: Thursday, 06/07/12
0.2 in the demo (-33% episode-to-episode change) with 0.63 million.
Season average: 0.25 in the demo with 0.78 million.

Episode 01-01: Thursday, 05/31/12
0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 0.93 million total viewers.
Season average: 0.30 in the demo with 0.93 million.

It wasn’t a positive start for Breaking Pointe but it was pretty much on par with the rest of the CW’s recent TV show premieres. We’ll have to wait and see how it does in later weeks but it seems unlikely that The CW will order another season.


Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
