Who needs the Duggars? Deadline reports the Bringing Up Bates TV show has been renewed for a fifth season of 13 episodes, on UP. According to the report, Bringing Up Bates season five is slated for a 2017 premieres.
A reality series, Bringing Up Bates features a loving American family with 19 children and (presently) five grandchildren. The series stars William Gilven, i.e. Gil Bates and Kelly Jo Bates. The fourth season premiered on June 2, 2016. Bill Hayes and director Matt Hightower executive produce.
Deadline says, “Led by devoted father Gil and his loving wife Kelly Jo, the Bates do everything in bulk while staying true to their values and rules for the family. But lately, their simple rural lifestyle in Tennessee is in a flurry of transitions as the family continues to navigate life’s triumphs and challenges.”
