You don’t have to worry whether the Brockmire TV show will cancelled or renewed for season four. Since IFC renewed the sitcom through its fourth season in March of 2019, it’s unlikely the third season of Nielsen ratings will change their mind. We’re still tracking the numbers as a benchmark. Since even renewals can be cancelled, stay tuned.
An IFC scripted comedy series, Brockmire stars Hank Azaria as baseball announcer Jim Brockmire, Amanda Peet as minor league club owner Julia James, and Tyrel Jackson Williams as tech marvel, Charles. Guest stars in season three include Tawny Newsome, Richard Kind, Linda Lavin, Martha Plimpton, J.K. Simmons, Christine Woods and Becky Ann Baker. This installment kicks off three months after Jim’s stay in rehab. When he and his new co-host, Gabby (Newsome), are tapped to serve as lead broadcasters in Oakland, Brockmire has to struggle with his amoral tendencies.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
