Bull: Cancel or Keep the New CBS TV Show?

Bull TV show on CBS: cancel or keep for season 2?Michael Weatherly left NCIS last season but he’s back on CBS with the new Bull TV show. Was it a good move? How is Bull doing in the ratings? Most new TV shows are cancelled after one season. Will this be one of them? Cancel or keep it?

Inspired by the early career of Doctor Phil McGraw, the Bull TV show revolves around the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly). He combines psychology, human intuition and high tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick. His team members are played by Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, and Christopher Jackson.

The show premiered on September 20th to a 2.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 15.56 million viewers. That was a very positive start for a new series. CBS wisely aired it after the Weatherly’s previous series so that no doubt helped draw in viewers.

The second episode dropped about 14% in the ratings which is a reasonable second week decline. Episode three also fell and the fourth installment fell as well, dropping to a 1.57 demo rating with 12.29 million.

While Bull’s numbers have been declining, it’s still CBS’ most watched new show and is averaging 13.62 million viewers. It’s still very early in the season but, at this point, it looks like the network won’t be cancelling Bull any time soon.

But, what do you think? Do you like the Bull TV show on CBS? Should it be cancelled? If you’ve watched the program, will you keep watching? Cancel or keep it?
