“MTV Suspect,” a brand new series starring Nev Schulman and from the producers of “Catfish: The TV Show,” will debut immediately following at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. Each week MTV Suspect features two stories, each with its own suspicion. The suspicions featured on the show cover every category imaginable. In this first season, Nev and iO will meet Truth Seekers who suspect a friend or family member is transgender, has dropped out of school, is secretly escorting, has been partying too much, is sick, involved in a crime and much, much more. In every episode, Nev and his co-host, (artist, activist and writer) iO Tillett Wright, will work to untangle a new web of untruths in the hopes of bringing resolution to our concerned truth-seekers who have nowhere else to turn. Nev and iO will examine the facts, seek out answers and push to uncover what’s really going on, delving into everything from secret identities, hidden addictions, to a host of other dishonesties that could have hugely damaging consequences. Through this process they hope to help bring the truth to the surface in order for these groups to move into a better and more honest relationship.
