CBS TV Show Ratings for 2010-11 Season [as of 4/21/11]

Last Friday, the third episode of CHAOS rose in the ratings but were still terrible and CBS decided that was enough of that. Other significant gains were 48 Hours and Hawaii Five-0. The biggest losers of the week were on Sunday night where 60 Minutes, Amazing Race, and Undercover Boss all had big drops.

Which CBS TV shows will be cancelled or renewed depend mostly on the series’s ratings, particularly the 18-49 demographic. Before we get to the season-to-date averages, here are the winners and losers from April 15th through April 21st — based on the coveted demo, as measured against the last original episode.

Week-to-Week Gains: CHAOS 1.0/3 (+11.1%), 48 Hours 1.2/4 (+20.0%), Mad Love 2.0/5 (+5.3%), Mike & Molly 2.6/6 (+4.0%), and Hawaii Five-0 2.8/7 (+12.0%).

No Change: Survivor: Redemption Island 3.1/9

Week-to-Week Losses: 60 Minutes 1.4/5 (-36.4%), The Amazing Race 2.4/7 (-17.2%), Undercover Boss 2.0/5 (-35.5%), CSI: Miami 2.2/6 (-4.3%), and How I Met Your Mother 2.5/8 (-7.4%).

Below is a list of the regular CBS TV shows and their 2010-11 season average ratings to date. It only incorporates the ratings for original episodes and not repeats. The data is sorted by the all-important 18-49 demographic averages. The closer a show is to the bottom, the more likely it is to be cancelled. Fridays and Saturdays are the least-watched nights of TV so those shows get lower numbers.
