Charity Case: Kyle Bornheimer to co-star with Courteney Cox in FOX Pilot

FOX TV shows

Kyle Bornheimer has been cast in the Charity Case TV series pilot for FOX. Bornheimer played Brad, brother of Maggie Lawson’s Allison, on Angel From Hell, which was cancelled by CBS after just five episodes of the first season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bornheimer will play the stepson of the Courteney Cox’s character, Hailey, who has inherited her late billionaire husband’s charity.

Per THR, Bornheimer’s character, Adam, “…becomes chair of the board of the Waller Foundation after his father’s passing. Described as self-important, Adam has nothing but disdain for Hailey, whom he refers to as ‘Philanthropist Barbie’.”

Friends’ veteran Cox will executive produce Charity Case, with Robert Padnick and James Griffiths. Cox’s recent series, Cougar Town, ran for three seasons on ABC, before it was cancelled. TBS purchased the rights, and the show aired for three more seasons, on the cable network.

What do you think? Do you like the sound of the Charity Case TV show pilot? How do you like the cast, so far?
