Chicago Med is adding a new face to the cast for season two of the NBC series. Mekia Cox, from Undercovers, will join the series as the adult daughter of Dr. Charles, who is played by Oliver Platt.
Deadline shared the following about how she will enter the series:
“On the Dick Wolf-produced medical drama, she will play the adult daughter of Dr. Robin Charles (Oliver Platt), who has followed her father into the medical profession. Robin Charles is an epidemiologist who is brought in to assess a difficult case, and it will further complicate her already strained relationship with her father.”
Cox has also appeared on 90210, and she will be featured on season two of Secrets and Lies on ABC. That series will return this fall.
