What’s This TV Show About?
A police procedural airing on the NBC television network, Chicago PD stars Jason Beghe, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Patrick John Flueger, Marina Squerciati, Elias Koteas, LaRoyce Hawkins, Amy Morton, and Tracy Spiridakos. Mykelti Williamson recurs. The drama centers on the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s District 21, who pursue the perpetrators of Chi-town’s major street crimes. Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Beghe) is at the heart of the war on crime in Chicago and will do anything to bring criminals to justice.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of Chicago PD averaged a 1.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.40 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 12% and down by 2%, respectively. Compare its standing against the other NBC TV shows we are tracking.

Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Chicago PD for a sixth season? The ratings have remained fairly steady so I’m confident that the drama series will score a renewal.
