Syfy just released a new introduction video, featuring two characters from the upcoming Childhood’s End TV show. Actors Ashley Zukerman and Hayley Magnus discuss the series, and their characters, Jake Greggson and Amy Morrel.

An adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke’s sci-fi novel, Childhood’s End tells the story of an alien invasion of Earth, which ushers in a seemingly utopian age. The cast includes: Charles Dance, Mike Vogel, Daisy Betts, Yael Stone, Julian McMahon, Osy Ikhile, Charlotte Nicdao, Zukerman, Magnus, and Colm Meaney.

At the outset of the invasion, high school sweethearts, Jake and Amy, are falling in love. As the story evolves, the two play roles crucial to the future. Childhood’s End premieres on Syfy, December 14, 2015, at 8:00pm ET/PT.
