It’s not unusual for the the stars of Community to guest star on Dr. Ken, but this one is unexpected. Deadline reports the NBC/Yahoo series creator Dan Harmon will guest on the season two finale of the ABC TV show.
The sitcom stars former Community alum Ken Jeong as a physician who goes into comedy. The cast also includes Suzy Nakamura, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Dave Foley, Kate Simses, Jonathan Slavin, Albert Tsai, and Krista Marie Yu.
Jeong’s former Community cast mates Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash, Gillian Jacobs, Jonathan Banks, and Yvette Nicole Brown have all appeared on Dr. Ken. Now, the show’s creator Dan Harmon will play a version of himself on the sitcom’s upcoming season two finale.
The episode, titled “Ken’s Big Audition,” will see Ken audition for a part on Harmon’s new TV show. The season two finale of Dr. Ken premieres on ABC on March 31st at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
