Constellation will not return for a second season. According to Deadline, Apple TV+ has decided to cancel the sci-fi thriller series created and written by Peter Harness.
Starring Noomi Rapace, Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy, Rosie Coleman, Davina Coleman, William Catlett, Julian Looman, Barbara Sukowa, Henry David, Sandra Teles, and Carole Weyers, the series follows an astronaut (Rapace) who returns home to Earth after a disaster in space. She discovers that key pieces of her life seem to be missing, or at least not as she remembered them.
Michelle MacLaren, Oliver Hirschbiegel, and Joseph Cedar directed the episodes. Produced by Turbine Studios and Haut et Court TV, the series was executive produced by David Tanner, Tracey Scoffield, Caroline Benjo, Simon Arnal, Carole Scotta, and Justin Thomson. MacLaren directed the first two episodes and executive produced the series with Rebecca Hobbs and co-executive producer Jahan Lopes for MacLaren Entertainment. Harness executive produced through Haunted Barn Ltd. The series was shot principally in Germany and was produced by Daniel Hetzer for Turbine Studios, Germany.
The series premiered in February, and the finale aired on March 27th.
