TV show description:
This spy series revolves around a woman who finds herself being moved up the CIA ladder very quickly.

Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) is 28 years old and has great instincts and a certain persistence. She finds herself yanked out of her CIA training early and sent out into the field. Her first assignment doesn’t go well, but it only serves to make her more determined. Without the benefit of full training, she only has her instincts to rely on. She originally got into this line of work while trying to heal her broken heart. Since then, she’s only become more driven.

Danielle Brooks (Anne Dudek) is Annie’s married older sister and a parent to two daughters. She doesn’t know anything about Annie’s occupation, and thinks she’s just hung up on the her ex and emotionally unavailable.

Auggie Anderson (Christopher Gorham) is the new man in Annie’s life. He’s a former CIA special operative who was blinded while on a mission. He’s now in charge of the tech ops department and has an understanding of the massive bureaucracy within the CIA that most others don’t. Realizing Annie’s intelligence, he more or less becomes her guide, helping her find her way through the system. Annie is drawn to him platonically and she realizes Auggie’s a guy she can finally trust.

Arthur Campbell (Peter Gallagher) is the director of the Clandestine Service Department at the CIA. He recognizes a good fight when it presents itself, whether on the job or at home with his wife, Joan. That doesn’t always make him Mister Popularity.

Joan (Kari Matchett) works at the Agency, too, and is Annie’s direct boss. There haven’t been many women to climb this high in the Agency. She’s a lot like Annie, and that makes her even tougher on her. Joan suspects that Arthur is cheating on her and isn’t above using the CIA to get her answers.

Asked by Arthur to get close to Annie to gain her trust, Jai Wilcox (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is more than happy to fulfill the request. A former lacrosse star, he’s quite the lothario. A second generation CIA man, Jai tries to make his own path while also living up to his father’s expectations. As luck would have it, Annie is just his type, and they have a friendly and flirtatious chemistry with each other.

Series Finale:
Episode #75 — Gold Soundz
Auggie and Deckard are safe on a plane headed back to DC but Annie and McQuaid still have to get out of Buenos Aires. They have Belenko in custody but the Russians want him dead and have sent in a Vega Force unit, their most deadly strike team, to do the job.

McQuaid is ready to ditch Belenko but Annie manages to convince him that Belenko’s intel on the FSB is too valuable to lose. McQuaid concedes, and then shocks Annie by proposing marriage — not once but twice.

Thanks to skill and teamwork — including some surprise help from Belenko — they defeat the elite team of assassins in a gun battle at the La Recoleta Cemetery.

Meanwhile, back at home, Calder leads a team to apprehend Belenko’s hired gun, Allen Langer. Unfortunately, the highly trained assassin manages to kill and impersonate a low-level CIA employee and enter the Langley headquarters. He’s there to kill two more people on his hit list — Auggie and Deckard.

Langer locks Auggie and Deckard in an interrogation room and releases a poisonous gas, but Calder rescues them. Langer is shot and the attack on the still unconcious Sydney is avenged.

A political operative asks Arthur to run for the US Senate, arranging to declassify the true story of his resignation from the CIA. Joan is placed in charge of a new special task force, and gets permission to reinstate Annie as a CIA agent — in spite of her heart condition.

Later, Auggie reveals to Annie that he’s leaving the CIA to travel the world with Natasha, who has received full immunity. As the episode comes to a close, Annie says “Got it,” indicating that she’s come to a decision about her marriage proposal and the invitation to join the CIA task force.
First aired: December 18, 2014.
