Criminal Minds: Season 12 Renewal for CBS Crime Drama

The wait is over for fans of CBS’ Criminal Minds TV show. It looked like the venerable could be cancelled over costs but the network has now announced that the Wednesday night series has been renewed for a 12th season.

CBS RENEWS “CRIMINAL MINDS” FOR THE 2016-2017 SEASON
CBS announced today that veteran drama CRIMINAL MINDS has been given a full season renewal for 2016-17.

In its 11th season, CRIMINAL MINDS is a top 10 drama in viewers (12.04m), adults 18-49 (2.8/9) and adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and ranks as CBS’s second highest rated drama in these demographics.

CRIMINAL MINDS stars Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness. Mark Gordon, Erica Messer and Breen Frazier are executive producers for ABC Studios in association with CBS Television Studios.
