Criminal Minds: Will You Watch Season 12 Without Thomas Gibson?

Criminal Minds TV show on CBS

The drama continues behind the scenes of Criminal Minds. Recently, we reported that star Thomas Gibson has been fired from season 12 of the CBS series after an on-set altercation. What we want to know is: Will you watch the new season without him?

The actor has played Special Agent Aaron Hotchner since the show began in 2005. The cast also includes Joe Mantegna, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Kirsten Vangsness.

Gibson is far from the first series regular to leave the show. Season 12 will be the first season without fan-favorite Shemar Moore, who left at the end of season 11. Recently, Moore uploaded a video on Instagram that seems to address Gibson’s firing, Zap2It reports.

In the video, Moore suggests Gibson may have had it coming:

I’ll just say this: I believe in karma. Good things happen to good people. Honest people. Hard-working people. Humble people. People who believe in basic goodness … Treat people how you expect them to treat you. Celebrate yourself and celebrate your blessings, as you should, but just know that you’re not better than anybody.”

Season 12 of Criminal Minds premieres on September 28th. The first two episodes were supposedly completed prior to Gibson’s dismissal and it’s unclear how the writers will handle his character’s departure.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Criminal Minds? Will you watch season 12 without Thomas Gibson?
