What’s unclear is if the network will bring the series back for one cycle or two cycles next season. Though the ratings have fallen, both cycles from this season represent ABC’s best overall numbers, averaging up to 14.5 million viewers each week.
Host Tom Bergeron is leaving America’s Funniest Home Videos after the upcoming season but has indicated that he’ll be staying with DWTS. He did tease however that there are some changes in the works for the venerable dancing competition.
