Daredevil: Born Again: Marvel Sequel Series to Undergo Creative Overhaul with New Writers

Daredevil: Born Again TV show on Disney+: canceled or renewed?

Daredevil fans may have to wait a bit longer for the return of the superhero. Marvel and Disney+ have decided to go back to the drawing board for the sequel series Daredevil: Born Again.

Marvel has hired new writers to replace Chris Ord and Matt Corman. The duo wrote 18 episodes for the series and will stay on as executive producers. Less than half of the episodes were filmed prior to the WGA strike.

Per Deadline, the plan is to change the series from a procedural to one with a more serialized focus. The plan is to be able to keep some of the already filmed footage.

The original Daredevil series initially aired on Netflix and eventually migrated to Disney+. Charlie Cox, playing Daredevil’s alter-ego, had a cameo in the Spider-Man: No Way Home feature film. Gangster Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) was the main villain in Hawkeye and will be seen in Echo.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to the return of Daredevil?
