The Sunday editions of the 27th season of Dateline NBC are averaging a 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.63 million viewers. Compared to the Sunday episodes of season 26, that’s even in the demo and down by 9% in viewership.

The Monday editions of the 27th season of Dateline NBC (airing during the summer months) are averaging a 0.62 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.69 million viewers.

With a long-running news program like this, cancellation is far less likely than changing up the anchor and/or correspondents or otherwise shaking up the format.
