DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: EP Discusses Season Two Plans

DC's Legends of Tomorrow TV show on CW (canceled or renewed?)

What’s next for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow? Executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently spoke about the future of the CW series with IGN.

The superhero series was renewed for a second season earlier this month.

Speaking at this month’s WonderCon, Guggenheim said the next season will feature some new faces, but not all will be new:

Depending on how long our second season is, maybe people come in for just a few episodes and we get different kinds of actors. The show is not going to have a brand new cast next year. The poster’s gonna look fundamentally the same as it did.”

He also discussed possible crossovers with other series, like the recent Supergirl/The Flash crossover:

Supergirl is tricky because she exists in a parallel universe or a separate universe. Certainly, every time a character is introduced on The Flash or Arrow, it’s like we’re asking ourselves, ‘Oh, that’d be interesting if that character came over to Legends.’ We always knew that would be the fun aspect of Legends—that Flash or Arrow turn into these breeding grounds for characters to maybe make the leap over.”

What do you think? What new characters would you like to see on Legends of Tomorrow? Which series would you like the show to crossover with?
