DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Season Three: Spartacus Actor to Play Ancient Role

DC's Legends of Tomorrow TV Show: canceled or renewed?

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will be traveling through time once again, and a trip to Ancient Rome is also planned for season three. An actor from Spartacus, Simon Merrells, has landed a role on the episode that will visit that era.

CBR.com shared the following comments by Phil Klemmer about Merrells’ role on the The CW series:

“We start out in 2017, obviously, but we’re going to take a trip back to Ancient Rome. We’re going to have Simon Merrells — he played Julius Ceaser’s [patron Crassus] on Spartacus — who’s going to be playing Julius Ceasar on our show.”

CW viewers saw Merrells last on The Tomorrow People. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return to CW on October 10.
