DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Season Two Rumor Debunked

DC's Legends of Tomorrow TV show on CW (canceled or renewed?)

Sorry, Green Lantern fans. According to Comic Book Resources, Patrick J. Adams will not be playing Alan Scott/Green Lantern in season two of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Adams will make his first appearance in the CW superhero drama during tonight’s season one finale.

Ever since it was announced the Suits star would be guest starring on Legends of Tomorrow, rumors have circulated that Adams will playing Alan Scott aka the Green Lantern. However, executive producer Marc Guggenheim told Comic Book Resources that’s not the case:

I’ll tell you right now, because I never want anyone to be disappointed, he’s not Alan Scott. I love Alan Scott. I’ve written Alan Scott in the comics. Alan Scott is also attached to the Green Lantern franchise, which DC obviously has feature plans for. In the poll of ‘who it’s going to be,’ you can cross off Alan Scott.”

Adams’ character, whoever it is, will continue his arc into season two.

The season one finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs tonight, May 19th, at 8 p.m ET/PT.

What do you think? Do you watch DC’s Legends of Tomorrow? Who do you think Adams is playing?
