Deal or No Deal: CNBC Releases More Details About Game Show Revival

Deal or No Deal TV show on CNBC: (canceled or renewed?)

Back in March of this year, CNBC announced they were reviving the cancelled Deal or No Deal TV show. Now, NBCUniversal’s business news cable network has released additional details, including open casting call information, for the game show revival. The TV series will film at Florida’s Universal Orlando Resort, before a live studio audience. Deal or No Deal is expected to premiere on CNBC late in 2018.

The Deal or No Deal format originated in the Netherlands and originally premiered in the US on NBC in 2005. It last ran in primetime, in 2009. It has also run as a half-hour syndicated daytime program. Howie Mandel is returning to host the CNBC version of the game show. Deal or No Deal features contestants who play the odds in hopes of dealing for a top prize of $1 million. The new season will consist of 30 hourlong episodes.
