Brace for impact, Designated Survivor TV show fans. No, we don’t know whether Designated Survivor is cancelled or renewed for season two on ABC, but the Alphabet Network has released details about the season one finale. The questions remains, will episode 1.21, “Brace for Impact,” also be the Designated Survivor TV series finale?  

A political thriller, Designated Survivor stars Kiefer Sutherland as Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland). The ABC cast also includes Natascha McElhone, Adan Canto, Italia Ricci, LaMonica Garrett, Tanner Buchanan, Kal Penn, and Maggie Q. After an attack on the Capitol devastates the presidential line of succession, HUD Secretary Kirkman because President of the United States.

ABC says:

In the nail-biting season finale, Hannah Wells must stop the conspiracy from carrying out a final attack while President Kirkman authorizes a nationwide manhunt for the mastermind behind it all.
