Devious Maids: Renewed for Season Two by Lifetime [report]

NBCLatino is reporting that Devious Maids has been renewed for a second season. This is the only outlet that’s reporting the news so there’s a chance NBCLatino may have misread speculative articles from earlier this week.

Lifetime hasn’t made an official announcement yet, but it’s a sure bet that Devious Maidswill be renewed even if the report is incorrect.

The new drama from Marc Cherry had a slow start in the ratings but has been growing its audience each week. The latest episode attracted 2.88 million viewers, compared to the premiere’s 1.99 million. If the audience keeps growing, Devious Maids will surpass Army Wives as the cable channel’s biggest show.
