It’s 4:20 somewhere. Netflix has ordered the Disjointed TV show, starring Kathy Bates, straight-to-series. The first season order is for 20 half-hour episodes of the multi-cam comedy from Chuck Lorre via Warner Bros. Television. Lorre is executive producing and writing with David Javerbaum.

A workplace comedy, Disjointed features Bates as a lifelong advocate for the legalization of marijuana. Netflix says she is “finally living her dream as the owner of an L.A.–area cannabis dispensary.” There is not yet word on who will be cast as her three “budtenders,” Bates’ character’s son, or the “deeply troubled” security guard. Per Netflix, “All of them are more or less constantly high.”

Here is the Netflix press release.
