TV show description:
A workplace comedy, the Disjointed TV show centers on Ruth (Bates), who has long agitated for the legalization of cannabis. After years of advocacy, Ruth is finally the proud proprietor of a Los Angeles-are marijuana dispensary.
Ruth’s son, Travis (Moten), has faith in his mother’s business plan. Still, where the future is concerned, this 20-something has even bigger plans.
Olivia (Alderfer) is one of Ruth’s budtenders. She is to a pot shop what a sommelier is to a fine-dining restaurant. Well acquainted with her product, this candid young woman has informed opinions about the varieties they offer.
Similarly, Pete (Baldwin) has a keen interest in developing new strains. He greatly respects Ruth and finds her inspiring.
Rounding out the budtending staff is Jenny (Ho). Since she’s a bit intense, she relies on their product to help her relax.
Finally, there is Carter (Bell). This military veteran recently joined the staff as a security guard. If this gang had an anthem, surely it would be Bob Dylan’s “Everybody Must Get Stoned.”
Series Finale:
Episode #20 — Main Street, USA
Biowave’s scheme takes Pete and Doug by surprise. Ruth searches for a way to help Walter. An unexpected visitor throws Jenny for a loop.
