Downton Abbey has some new company. Deadline reports Imelda Staunton (pictured), Geraldine James, and more have joined the TV show’s upcoming feature film adaptation.
As reported earlier, the hit PBS/ITVdrama is being made into a movie starring original cast members Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, and Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Kevin Doyle, Siobhan Finneran, and Joanne Froggatt.
Now, it looks like Downton Abbey is welcoming new guests. Per Deadline, Imelda Staunton, Geraldine James, Stephen Campbell Moore, Simon Jones, David Haig, Tuppence Middleton, and Kate Phillips have joined the feature film.
A premiere date has not yet been released, but series creator Julian Fellowes is producing the movie.
