The CW has found their new Alexis Carrington. Today, the network announced Nicolette Sheridan will play the iconic role in the Dynasty reboot.
A reboot of the ’80s primetime soap, the drama centers on the wealthy Carrington family and the energy empire they must defend against the Colbys and other adversaries. The cast includes Grant Show, Alan Dale, Elizabeth Gillies, Nathalie Kelley, James Mackay, Sam Adegoke, Robert Christopher Riley, Rafael de la Fuente, Brianna Brown, and Nick Wechsler.
Originally played by Joan Collins, Alexis Carrington is the wife of Blake Carrington and mother of Fallon and Steven. It’s unclear when Sheridan will maker her debut as Alexis on Dynasty, but you can read more info from The CW below:
November 28, 2017 (Burbank, CA) – Nicollette Sheridan (“Desperate Housewives,” “Knots Landing”) has been cast as Alexis Carrington in DYNASTY on The CW. Alexis Carrington is the first wife of Blake Carrington and mother to Fallon and Steven. She will return unexpectedly to their world, challenging Blake’s marriage to Cristal, seeking to reunite with her children, and fighting to claim what is hers.
DYNASTY airs Wednesdays, 9:00-10:00pm ET/PT on The CW.
