Dynasty has some new company. TVLine reports Maddison Brown has joined season two of the CW TV show.
Based on the ’80s primetime soap, the drama centers on the wealthy Carrington family and the energy empire they must defend against the Colbys and other adversaries. The cast includes Grant Show, Alan Dale, James Mackay, Sam Adegoke, Robert Christopher Riley, Rafael de la Fuente, Brianna Brown, and Nick Wechsler.
On Dynasty, Brown will be playing Kirby Anders, the “daughter of Carrington estate manager Joseph Anders”, a character that fans will remember from the first series. From 1982 to 1984, the character was played by Kathleen Beller on the original Dynasty series. She was written out after season four but returned for the 1991 mini-series, Dynasty: The Reunion.
Season two of Dynasty premieres on The CW on October 12th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Kirby grew up in the staff’s living quarters with her father … and sides more with the downstairs occupants than the upstairs. She has a fraught history with the Carringtons, specifically a tempestuous relationship with Fallon that was the reason for Kirby’s exile from the Manor years ago. And while she returns to Atlanta to make amends with her father, she will certainly continue wreaking havoc on the Carringtons.”
