Empire is shaking things up a bit before the premiere of season three on FOX later this month. There has been a big recast ahead of the season three premiere. The recast created the need for reshoots.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Kid Cudi has left the series as the love interest of Tiana. Romeo Miller has been cast in the role instead. He shared a photo of himself on set on his Twitter account.

The news outlet reported that the recasting was caused by “creative differences” between Cudi and the people behind the popular FOX drama.
