Empire has a new castmember. TVLine reports Taye Diggs will appear in season three of the FOX series.
Diggs currently stars in the TNT drama Murder in the First and has previously starred in ABC’s Private Practice as well as FOX’s Rosewood.
In season three of Empire, Diggs will play “Angelo Dubois, a city councilman hailing from a respected and affluent New York family.” The actor joins fellow new castmembers Sierra McClain, French Montana, and Xzibit.
Season three of Empire premieres on September 21st.
