Escape Routes: 2011-12 Season Ratings

Escape Routes NBC ratingsHere are the ratings for the Escape Routes TV series, a reality show that pits six teams in a unique road-trip competition. Hosted by Ford, the first season of Escape Routes typically airs Saturday nights on the NBC network.

These are the TV show’s ratings for the 2011-12 season, the best way to tell if Escape Routes is going to be cancelled or renewed for season two. The show’s fate will also be determined by how well Ford feels the show helped them promote their vehicles. 0.3 in the demo (0% episode-to-episode change) with 1.2 million. (These are fast affiliate numbers and will be updated to reflect the national ratings when they are available.)

Episode 01-05: Saturday, 04/28/12
0.3 in the demo (0% episode-to-episode change) with 1.1 million; fourth in the timeslot.
Season average: 0.26 in the demo with 1.08 million.

Episode 01-04: Saturday, 04/21/12
0.3 in the demo (+50% episode-to-episode change) with 1.1 million; fourth in the timeslot.
Season average: 0.25 in the demo with 1.08 million.

Episode 01-03: Saturday, 04/14/12
0.2 in the demo (-33% episode-to-episode change) with 1.0 million; fourth in the timeslot.
Season average: 0.23 in the demo with 1.07 million.

Episode 01-02: Saturday, 04/08/12
0.3 in the demo (+50% episode-to-episode change) with 1.1 million; fourth in the timeslot.
Season average: 0.25 in the demo with 1.10 million.

Episode 01-01: Saturday, 03/31/12
0.2 rating in the demographic with 1.1 million total viewers; fourth in the timeslot.
Season average: 0.20 in the demo with 1.10 million.

It was hardly a positive start for Escape Routes but, since the series is produced in partnership with Ford, NBC may feel like it’s a success. A week earlier, they didn’t do much better with a rerun of Fairly Legal. Original episodes of The Firm typically bring in about twice the demo.


Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
