The show revolves around two high school girls who are also best friends. They have no luck in their pursuit to become popular until they’re mistakenly outed as lesbians. This causes the girls to become school celebrities and they just don’t want to give up the notariety. The cast includes Rita Volk, Katie Stevens, Gregg Sulkin, Bailey Buntain, and Michael Willett.
“Faking It has proved to be the perfect companion show to Awkward,” said Susanne Daniels, President of MTV Programming. “We’re excited about Carter Covington’s delicious plans for season two.”
