Will the worlds of Seth MacFarlane collide? According to TVGuide, FOX may be planning a Family Guy crossover with The Orville.
Both series come from MacFarlane, who voices several characters in Family Guy in addition to playing Captain Ed Mercer on the new sci-fi comedy The Orville.
At this week’s TCA press tour, Family Guy producer Rich Appel revealed the writers of the animated series have come up with a script where the Griffins end up on The Orville. However, MacFarlane isn’t sure the FOX crossover will happen:
“I sort of live with everything I do being compared to Family Guy, so my first instinct is to let that be its own thing.”
