First Dates is the next big project coming to NBC from Ellen DeGeneres. Little Big Shots was a big hit, and it has already been renewed for a second season. Will First Dates travel that same path?
Deadline reported the latest on the series earlier this week, and the reality series will have some help from a former angel. Drew Barrymore has signed on to narrate the series that will take a look at first dates over the course of a night at one restaurant. The series will be filmed on location in Chicago, and there are eight episodes ordered.
This is not the only television project Barrymore is involved in right now. She will also star on Santa Clarita Diet. That series will premiere on Netflix in 2017.
