What’s This TV Show About?
Based on the DC Comics series, The Flash revolves around young police scientist Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) who’s struck by lightning in a freak accident. He finds that he has super speed and decides to use his abilities as a masked hero. The show also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, and Carlos Valdes. The series airs on The CW television network.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of The Flash averaged a 1.06 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.84 million viewers. Compared to the second season, that’s down by 23% in the demo and down by 20% in total viewers. Learn how The Flash stacks up against the other CW TV shows.

The Flash is The CW’s highest-rated TV shows. There was no question that it would be renewed for a fourth season. The scarlet speedster is outrunning the television vulture — for now.
