Somebody new is joining The Flash. Variety reports Sugar Lyn Beard has been cast in season four of the CW TV show.
The superhero drama revolves around young police scientist Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) who’s struck by lightning in a freak accident and finds that he has super speed. The cast also includes Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, and Carlos Valdes.
On The Flash, Beard will play Hazard, aka Rebecca Sharpe, a DC Comics villain who is “perpetually down-on her luck and is convinced her life is cursed — until a freak accident changes everything.”
Season four premieres on The CW on October 10th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
