What’s This TV Show About?

A British Amazon comedy-drama, Fleabag stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sian Clifford, Olivia Colman, Jenny Rainsford, Bill Paterson, Brett Gelman, Andrew Scott, Hugh Skinner, Ben Aldridge, and Hugh Dennis. The series follows a grieving young woman nicknamed “Fleabag,” as she tries to find her place in the world. At turns raunchy, awkward, and poignant, the series centers on Fleabag’s life as a single woman, in the wake of the death of her best friend, Boo (Rainsford).

Telly’s Take

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is usually difficult to predict whether Amazon will cancel or renew a TV series like Fleabag for season three. Because the show first airs in UK on the BBC, we received advanced notice that it is ending with season two. I’ll keep an eye out for news, in case Amazon and/or the BBC decides to bring it back in some form, so subscribe for free Fleabag cancellation and renewal alerts.
