Freeform announces that production has begun on the forth season of The Fosters TV series. Rob Morrow is directing the first two episodes of season four, on this diverse blended family drama.
The cast of The Fosters includes: Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Hayden Byerly, Noah Centineo, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Danny Nucci, and Cierra Ramirez. The series is created, written, and executive produced by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige. Jennifer Lopez, writer Joanna Johnson, Greg Gugliotta, Elaine Goldsmith Thomas, and Benny Medina also executive produce.

‘THE FOSTERS’ STARTS PRODUCTION ON SEASON FOUR
Production began this week on the fourth season of Freeform’s award-winning drama series “The Fosters.” Filming in Los Angeles, the first two episodes are directed by Rob Morrow.
A compelling, one-hour drama about a multiethnic family mix of adopted and biological teenaged kids being raised by two moms. Stef Adams Foster, a dedicated police officer, and her wife, Lena Adams Foster, a school vice principal, have built a close-knit, loving family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon; their adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus; and newly adopted siblings, Jude, and his half-sister, Callie.
Winner of a Television Academy Honors Award and GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Drama Series, “The Fosters” is executive-produced by Jennifer Lopez, (“American Idol,” “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” “The Back-Up Plan”) and created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige (“Queer As Folk”), who also serve as executive producers and writers, along with Joanna Johnson (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Hope & Faith”).

Greg Gugliotta, Elaine Goldsmith Thomas and Benny Medina also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Nuyorican Productions, Inc. in association with Freeform.
